Overview

Our One Day Petra Tour from Eilat offers a truly amazing experience. The legendary ‘lost city’ of Petra was carved into the walls of a desert canyon over 2,500 years ago. It is located just a short ride after entering into the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This makes it a perfect destination for a single day tour from Eilat, and the tour includes all entrance fees, guiding, transportation and water bottle.

After being picked up from Eilat, your Petra Tour from Eilat will begin, crossing the border into Jordan with full assistance, and driving by the unique desert landscape of Wadi Rum. On arrival to Petra, you will enjoy a guided tour of the magical site with a maximum size of 25 people per guide. Walk through the Siq, a narrow gorge one kilometer long filled with interesting niches, shrines, and carvings. Running alongside the length of al Siq are water channels carved by the Nabateans to provide water to their communities. From here, the ancient city awaits. Sites you will discover along the way include The Obelisk Tomb, the Treasury, Jabal Madbach (the sacrificial palace), the Tombs, the Theater, and the Mountaintop Tombs. After two hours of guided explorations, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace. From here, pass by the incredible landscape of Wadi Rum, stopping for a short detour at a scenic viewpoint, before returning to the border and Eilat. This One Day Petra Tour is also available from Tel Aviv or Jerusalem.
